My negative reaction was so strong that, yes, I literally fell out of my pose.

What the instructor said was "No expectations, no disappointments." WOW!

One of the amazing laws of the Universe is the Law of Polarity. This law states that everything has an equal opposite. Knowing this and after I picked myself up off the floor, I took a deep breath and began looking for the positive in the instructor's statement.

As I thought about what the instructor said, I realized there are many people who believe this same way. This is a limiting belief that comes from fear of failing. That belief could be stated something like..."If I expect something, I won't get it and I will be upset." This is probably the reason so many have difficulty setting and achieving grand goals for themselves. If they don't set a goal, they won't fail and they won't be disappointed if they don't achieve it.

Here's the good news. You have the ability to change your beliefs. Once you have uncovered a belief that limits you from what you want, you can release it and replace it with a belief that serves you better.

So, what good did I find in the instructor's statement?

I realized I had put this particular limiting belief behind me a long time ago because I believe "No expectations, no achievements." We must expect to achieve the goals we desire. Expectation is a key part of the achievement process.

I am truly grateful to the yoga instructor for giving me awesome material for this newsletter.

I am also grateful for the inspired idea to offer an on-line Goal Achiever Boot Camp to help you uncover and release your limiting beliefs, and achieve the goals and dreams you desire.

Always expect the best.
